Point Hope, the massive lighthouse map you can explore in Phasmophobia, had an additional variant of the map added on Aug. 25, 2026. This smaller, easier-to-explore version of it is called Point Hope Restricted, and since it cuts off key parts of the layout, Cursed Possessions have new locations, too.
In the main version of this location, the many Cursed Objects you can find span across a variety of floors, with some being located pretty close to the top. You can only explore a few levels in the Restricted version, so items have moved around a bit to accompany this change. All Phasmophobia Point Hope Restricted Cursed Item locations
In total, there are seven Cursed Possessions you can find around Point Hope Restricted, although you’ll only ever encounter one in standard contracts. Here’s the exact location where each one spawns across this three-floor map.
- First Floor
- Monkey Paw: On the end table between the two green couches in the living room.
- Tarot Cards: On the same table as the Monkey Paw.
- Voodoo Doll: Sitting on a brown basket by the stairs in the living room.
- Second floor
- Summoning Circle: On the ground in the kitchen.
- Third floor
- Ouija Board: Underneath a blue seat in the dining room.
- Haunted Mirror: On the ground leaning up against a cabinet in the dining room.
- Music Box: Sitting on a table near the stairs in the dining room.
For all regular matches, you’ll only see one of these seven items present. In custom matches and weekly challenge modes, though, this sometimes changes. The easiest way to figure out which Cursed Object is present is by checking all possible spawn locations, too, so even though there won’t be seven to find in the majority of rounds, it’s still useful to check all spots for them.
Point Hope Restricted Monkey Paw location
The Monkey Paw spawns on the small end table sitting between the two dark green couches in the living room on the first floor. Upon entering this map, walk down the hallway and turn right to enter the living room. Turn right and walk over to the couch area near the wall. Check the table between the two couches to find the Monkey Paw.
Point Hope Restricted Tarot Cards location
The Tarot Cards spawn on the same small end table as the Monkey Paw, which can be found between two green couches in the living room on the first floor. This item is one of the only ones that doesn’t move in the Restricted version of the map, as this is also where it appears in regular Point Hope.
Point Hope Restricted Voodoo Doll location
You can find the Voodoo Doll sitting on a brown basket by the stairs in the living room on the first floor. Head inside Point Hope, then turn right in the entryway hallway to enter the living room. Walk over to the stairs near the other end of the room and look down right next to them to spot the Voodoo Doll sitting on a brown wicker basket.
Point Hope Restricted Summoning Circle location
The Summoning Circle can be found drawn on the ground in the kitchen on the second floor of Point Hope. It’s the only Cursed Object found on this level. Head inside the map, then go up the stairs in the living room to reach the kitchen.
Once you’re inside, head over to the back area near the fridge, oven, and other cooking appliances. Look down at the ground near the sink to spot the Summoning Circle.
Point Hope Restricted Ouija Board location
The Ouija Board can be found on the ground underneath a blue chair on the third floor of Point Hope Restricted in the dining room. Once you’re on this floor, walk over to the back wall. Look for a dark brown shelf with some white and blue plates sitting on it on the wall. Right beneath it, you’ll spot a dark blue seat with the Ouija Board on the ground underneath.
Point Hope Restricted Haunted Mirror location
The Haunted Mirror can be found leaning up against a blue cupboard in the dining room on the third floor. If you’re familiar with the standard version of the map, this is the exact same spot where you can usually find it.
To locate this item, enter the map, head into the living room, and go upstairs. Once you’re in the kitchen, head up the stairs one more time to reach the dining room. In this area, head over to the right side of the dining table, close to the back of the room. Look down near the wall behind it to spot the Haunted Mirror.
Point Hope Restricted Music Box location
You can find the Music Box sitting on the table right next to the stairs in the dining room on the third floor. Make your way up the stairs in this home until you reach the last floor you can access, which is the dining room. As soon as you reach the top of the stairs, look left to find the Music Box sitting on the long, dark brown table nearby.
