Alice: Madness Returns is out June 14, and Electronic Arts is ready to ramp up the pre-order incentives.
It’s announced today that folks who pre-order the game from GameStop, Amazon.com, or the EA Store will get a digital copy of the soundtrack. It comes with nine full songs, plus an all new track by industrial/rock musician and producer, Chris Vrenna.
Great news for PC gamers who haven’t played the original game — you can pick up Alice: Madness Returns – The Complete Collection at launch. The $49.99 bundle features a re-mastered version of the original title, American McGee’s Alice, which has been out of print for some time now. Console gamers, don’t get all worked up — you’ll still be able to play it for free, as every copy of the console version comes with a code to download the game to your console.
I’ve played through the first chapter of Alice: Madness Returns, and I’d love to tell you more. But I can’t. At least right now. More tomorrow, so check back if you want to hear about my early look at Alice’s revisit to her terrifying Wonderland.
