BitLife’s got quite an array of chaotic weekly trials for you to tackle. One of the messiest and most complex ones is the Breakout Star challenge, which pushes you to balance a life devoted to crime with one where you’re also in the spotlight.
While most weekly challenges contain a mix of complex and easy quests to work through, this one only has extremely daunting missions to get done, making it one of the overall toughest challenges to successfully finish. If you’re having trouble getting through it, here’s how to complete the Breakout Star challenge in BitLife.

BitLife Breakout Star challenge walkthrough
There are five goals you need to complete throughout BitLife’s Breakout Star challenge:
- Break out of juvie.
- Become famous.
- Burgle $50k+ in cash and valuables.
- Break out of a maximum security prison.
- Appear in a magazine after breaking out of a maximum security prison.
Break out of juvie in BitLife
Your first big mission in this challenge is to break out of juvie. Age up your character until you reach middle school. Then, select the Activities tab in the bottom right corner, scroll down to find the Crime section, and get to work completing crimes like burglary, shoplifting, and grand theft auto.
The lighter the crime, the lower your sentence will be, and the earlier in your life you manage to be sent to juvie, the easier the minigame for escaping will be. Repeatedly work on crimes until you’re eventually caught, at which point you’ll land in juvie. Then, once you’re in juvie, work on escaping by successfully beating the escape minigame.
Become famous in BitLife
Next up, you need to become famous. This part of the challenge is pretty open-ended, as it’s entirely up to you to decide how you want to achieve this goal. Some options you might consider are:
- Social media/Being an influencer
- Being a model
- Being part of a royal family
- Being a writer
- Dating a celebrity
- Being a musician
- Being a DJ
- Being a magician
- Being a reporter
- Being a porn star
- Dating royalty
- Being a professional athlete
- Being an app developer
- Being a politician
You’ll know you’ve managed to achieve fame when you get a pop-up letting you know you have. This pop-up also highlights your level of fame so you can see how well-known you’ve become.
Burgle $50k+ in cash and valuables in BitLife
It’s now time to burgle $50,000+ in cash and valuables. You may already have a bit of progress towards this task from earlier on in the trial if you previously chose to burgle when attempting to get sent to juvie, but you’ll likely still need to rack up more funds through additional burglary here.
To get this done, select the Activities tab, choose the Crime section, and click the Burglary option. Steal valuables once you’re in, and do your absolute best to avoid getting caught until you manage to secure the $50,000 worth of valuables you need to check off this part of the challenge.
Break out of a maximum security prison in BitLife
Next, you need to break out of a maximum security prison. First up, you need to find a way to get sent there. Generally, you’ll want to commit a big crime to make this happen, like murder.
Once you’ve managed to land yourself in a maximum security prison, it’s time to try and find your way out by once again completing an escape puzzle. Since you’re in a more secure prison for a bigger crime this time around, the puzzle you have to complete to escape will be much tougher. It’s randomized every time, so all you can do is give it your all and keep trying until you make it out.
Appear in a magazine after breaking out of a maximum security prison in BitLife
The final mission to check off in this challenge is also the easiest as long as you’re working through the steps listed here in the right order, as you now simply need to appear in a magazine after breaking out of a maximum security prison. You should have some fame leftover after breaking out of maximum security prison, so you can choose the Activities page, select Fame, and choose the Photo Shoot option to land yourself in a magazine, thus completing the final part of the Breakout Star challenge.
