On February 26
Nintendo sent over word that there will be a special Pokémon-centric Nintendo Direct in the near future. It will debut on Friday, February 26, at 10AM ET. This is right on the heels of the special Pokémon retailer event that will be held at select stores on February 27.
I’d expect lots of retreaded territory, including possible amiibo restocks and the new Pokémon creature. There’s also rumors floating around of a “Pokémon Rainbow.” You can watch it here when it goes live.
Again, it’s insane how much Nintendo is pushing this anniversary. It’s only February and we’ve gotten more in terms of a celebration than Zelda and Metroid combined. The Pokémon Company may be the driving force for that though.
