A Link to the Past sequel announced for 3DS

HNNNGHHHH!

Wow Nintendo! Reggie Fils-Aime, President of Nintendo America, at the last possible moment swooped in during today’s Nintendo Direct and announced a brand new title for the Nintendo 3DS: a brand new 3DS Zelda game!

It’s based on my personal favorite Zelda game, A Link to the Past, and will feature an original storyline and entirely new dungeons. Link can also become a drawing and slip onto walls, Paper Mario style, and it’ll utilize the portable’s 3D effects to the fullest potential. It looks to be a sequel.

This new game doesn’t have a proper name yet, but we’ll provide info as soon as it becomes available. This must be that project Nintendo mentioned in 2011.

One Zelda down — Wii U to go!
