Atari said no, but …GameStop lists Ghostbusters for PSP

You know how sometimes you think a thing is coming, and you ask the game company, but the answer is no, absolutely not, we aren’t making that game, and then a few months later, the game is announced? That thing that happens kind of often? Well, it happened again. Atari said no Ghostbusters for the PSP, but hey, look at that: GameStop has it listed for preorder for North America. Well, what do you know…

That’s great news, because the game would make an ideal portable title (and nothing against the DS version or anything — I’m no hater like Sir Sterling) and will probably look a great deal handsomer than its DS incarnation. The PSP release is actually a port of the Wii version, which means it’ll have that more cartoony look to it. Interested, or sticking with your big console version?
