Best teams and strategies

Suggested teams for first half:

The first half consists of two bosses and one mobbing floor. I recommend having Pyro, Geo, and/or a Claymore user to deal with Coppelius’ Cryo shield. However, another valid strategy is to wait until Coppelius drops his shield on his own. If your team is strong enough, you can still beat the timer.

Suggested teams for second half:

  • Nahida – Neuvillette – Kuki Shinobu – Venti
  • Xingqiu – Kuki Shinobu/RaidenYaoyao/Baizhu/Nahida – Dendro
  • Tartaglia – Zhongli/Kazuha – Bennett – Xiangling
  • Arlecchino – Zhongli – Xingqiu/Yelan – Bennett

The second half consists of two mobbing floors and one boss. Venti can easily sweep up the Fatui Operatives in Chamber 1 and is the best grouper for the two Abyss Lectors in Chamber 2. Chamber 3’s Iniquitous Baptist creates Pyro, Cryo, and Electro shields at random, and you’ll need to counter the Electro shields in Chamber 2. Hyperbloom or Vaporize teams do a good job of covering your elemental bases.

If you’re having trouble clearing all three chambers in one run, try a Venti Freeze team for Chambers 1 and 2, then switch to a Hyperbloom or Vaporize team for Chamber 3. Once you’ve gotten three stars for Chambers 1 and 2, you can take your time getting through them and just focus on having your team’s Bursts up for Chamber 3.

Blessing of the Flame-Fanning Moon

After triggering a Pyro reaction, the affected opponent will receive a 30% RES reduction to all elements, including Physical.

RES shred is less valuable when enemy RES drops into the negatives, but the debuff is still helpful, especially if you don’t have 4pc Viridescent Venerer in your team. The blessing triggers with any Pyro reaction, leaving you with lots of flexibility. You can take advantage of this buff with Vaporize teams, Melt teams, mono Pyro teams, or even Burgeon teams.

First Half

Wave 1: Maguu Kenki Trio

Second Half

Wave 1: 2x Kairagi
Wave 2: 1x Mirror Maiden, 2x Fatui Pyroslingers
Wave 3: 2x Fatui Operatives

Tips

As soon as you start the first half, try to position yourself between the two Maguu Kenkis on the right. The Cryo one will dash past you toward the left, but it should slowly start walking back to the center. As long as all three bosses are in front of you, they should eventually group up.

Aside from the two Kairagi, all enemies in the second half are susceptible to crowd control. Venti will sweep them up and immobilize them outright, but Kazuha and Sucrose will work too. Just power through each wave as best as you can, and be aware that the Fatui Operatives can apply a Bond of Life debuff.

First Half

Wave 1: Icewind Suite: Coppelius

Second Half

Wave 1: 3x Fatui Pyro Agents
Wave 2: 2x Eremite Summoners
Wave 3: 2x Electro Abyss Lectors

Tips

10 seconds after starting the chamber, Coppelius will create a Cryo shield, becoming immune to all damage until the shield is destroyed. You can destroy the shield with Pyro or blunt attacks (e.g., Geo or Claymore hits), or you can wait until the shield drops automatically at about 50 seconds in. The latter strategy is only viable if you’re confident you have enough DPS to defeat Coppelius in 40 seconds or less. In either case, watch out for Coppelia’s Anemo attacks, since it’s easy for her to hit you from off-screen.

The second half is another multi-wave mobbing floor. Venti is once again the best choice for grouping the Fatui Pyro Agents and the Abyss Lectors.

If you don’t have Venti, though, you can run to the far side of the arena, then loop around the side in order to bait them toward you.

Once the Lectors put up their Electro shields, deplete them with as much Pyro, Cryo, or Dendro as you’re able to apply.

First Half

Wave 1: 2x Fatui Cryogunners
Wave 2: 1x Eremite Daythunder, 2x Nobushi
Wave 3: 1x Construction Mek, 2x Dog Meks

Second Half

Wave 1: Iniquitous Baptist – Pyro/Cryo/Electro

Tips

The first half is a multi-wave mobbing floor. There’s nothing special here, just a DPS check with three waves of regular mobs. Whatever team you were using for the first two chambers will probably work fine.

The Iniquitous Baptist will create Pyro, Cryo, and Electro shields in that order. After a shield is fully depleted, the boss will be stunned for a few seconds before generating another shield.

  • Pyro shields can be countered with Hydro or Electro.
  • Cryo shields can be countered with Pyro or Electro.
  • Electro shields can be countered with Dendro, Pyro, or Cryo.

The best teams to counter all possible shields are Vaporize teams (Pyro + Hydro) and Hyperbloom teams (Hydro + Dendro + Electro).
