Genshin Impact’s current rate-up 5-star characters are Wanderer (Anemo Catalyst) and Baizhu (Dendro Catalyst). They are accompanied by the 4-star characters Beidou (Electro Claymore), Faruzan (Anemo Bow), and Layla (Cryo Sword).
Genshin Impact’s current rate-up 5-star weapons are Tulaytullah’s Resemblance (Catalyst) and Jadefall’s Splendor (Catalyst). They are accompanied by the 4-star weapons: Prospector’s Drill (Polearm), Range Gauge (Bow), Favonius Sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst).
There is currently no Chronicled Wish banner in Genshin Impact.

The three limited characters who have gone the longest without a rerun are Shenhe, Nilou, and Ganyu. One or more of these may rerun in Version 4.7. Going by past Archon banner trends, Furina is also due for a rerun soon.
How good are the current banners?
Keep in mind, there is no pity for a specific 4-star character or weapon. Do not pull for a specific 4-star unless you are prepared to pull several 5-stars along the way. The weapon banner is even more punishing than the character banners. Do not pull unless you are okay with receiving at least one of each featured weapon.
How good is Wanderer?
Wanderer is a strong on-field Anemo DPS unit. He deals damage with his empowered Normal Attacks after using his Skill. He’s fully capable of clearing the Spiral Abyss, but he’s not the strongest of DPS options. Still, being an Anemo Catalyst user, Wanderer has flexible team options. He’s also great for overworld traversal, since he can literally fly. Don’t pull for Wanderer if you only care about the highest DPS. Do pull for Wanderer if you like his character or want to zoom around the skies of Teyvat.
How good is Baizhu?
Baizhu is a strong Dendro healer. While Yaoyao is a good 4-star alternative in many Dendro teams, Baizhu is still the better healer. This is especially true in teams with Furina, since Baizhu can heal the entire team to counteract Furina’s HP drain. If you don’t have Furina, and don’t plan to pull for her in the future, Yaoyao is perfectly fine. If you have any interest in Furina, though, Baizhu is one of her best teammates. If you have neither Yaoyao nor Baizhu, then you might want to try pulling for at least one Dendro healer.
4-Star Characters
Faruzan is valuable if you play an Anemo DPS unit like Wanderer or Xiao. Her Constellation 6 in particular allows her to buff Anemo CRIT DMG, making her the best support for Anemo teams. It will be hard to obtain C6 Faruzan if you only want C0 Wanderer, though. Don’t do extra pulls just for Faruzan Constellations; you’ll get them eventually.
The other two 4-stars, Beidou and Layla, are decent. Beidou deals respectable Electro damage and provides a shield, while Layla provides Cryo application and shields. Neither are must-pulls, but they’re definitely usable if you want to play them.
5-Star Weapons
Neither of the featured 5-star weapons are worth the Primogems.
Tulaytullah’s Remembrance is Wanderer’s best weapon, but Wanderer can use many of the other DPS-oriented Catalyst options. I personally prefer Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, since the movement speed buff allows Wanderer to zoom quickly through the overworld. His best 4-star free-to-play option is Flowing Purity, which can be crafted using billets. It performs worse than the 5-star Catalysts, but is still fairly respectable. I only recommend pulling for Tulaytullah’s Remembrance if you have no other 5-star DPS Catalysts and you don’t want to use Flowing Purity.
Baizhu’s signature weapon is Jadefall’s Splendor, but he can just as easily use Prototype Amber instead. Prototype Amber is almost as good, and it’s a craftable weapon, meaning you can obtain it for free using billets. At Refinement Rank 5, Prototype Amber is very competitive with Jadefall’s Splendor, to the point where I really don’t recommend pulling for the 5-star green donut.
4-Star Weapons
Prospector’s Drill and Range Gauge are banner-exclusive weapons, meaning you can only obtain them from special weapon banners like this one. Even if you miss them, though, you aren’t missing out on much. There aren’t any characters that make great use of either weapon. Prospector’s Drill is the better of the two, and any Polearm character that might want it also has other alternatives available to them. As long as you’re not a weapon collector, you can skip this banner and rest easy.
The rest of the 4-stars are actually quite good. Favonius Sword is useful on many Sword support characters, like Kazuha, Jean, Layla, and Kirara. Sacrificial Fragments is great for Sucrose. Rainslasher can be used on Diluc or Beidou. Still, I don’t recommend pulling on this banner because the 5-star weapons have such poor value.
