How to get to the Nameless Village in Octopath Traveler 2

Over the ocean and through the woods

Octopath Traveler 2 features numerous towns and villages throughout the massive world of Solistia. If you’re intent on completing all eight of the main characters’ storylines, you’ll eventually need to reach the quiet and secluded Nameless Village.

Unfortunately, the Octopath Traveler 2 Nameless Village is one of the most hidden towns in the world of Solistia. Not only is it in a mostly unpopulated area of the world map, but it is even hard to find within its region.

Before we go further, I should note that the Nameless Village is different from the Abandoned Village. These are two distinctly different towns in the game that you might easily confuse. The former is necessary for players who wish to complete Chapter 4 of Temenos’ story.

The Nameless Village is in the Toto’haha region of the world; the same place where Ochette begins her tale. It is found on the northern island that is separate from the main island where the Beasting Village is.

If you wish to arrive at the Nameless Village, there are two main starting places: the Beasting Bay: Anchorage or the city of Tropu’hopu. No matter which route you take, you’re going to be dealing with a level 45 area outside the Nameless Village, so come prepared.

If you start at the Anchorage, head east to the next area known as the Western Tropu’hopu Traverse. It only has a danger level of 22. Alternatively, you can take the route I did and fast travel to Tropu’hopu and head out of the west exit to enter this same western area.

Once here, you’ll want to head north. At the northern edge of the Western Traverse area, there is a small dock that leads to the ocean. Take the boat from here and go further north to reach the next area. This place is known as the Southern Nameless Village Traverse and has a danger level of 45.

The Nameless Village isn’t too far from here. Simply head north through the water once you enter this area and look for the dock to bring you back ashore. Walk a little north from there and you’ll reach the Nameless Village where you can finish off Temenos’ Cleric storyline.

If, for some reason, you are slightly under-leveled for this area, there is a way to traverse the Southern Nameless Village area more safely. Equip the Cleric’s Evil Ward skill to make it easier to escape battles. Also, grab the Scholar’s Evasive Maneuvers to decrease the rate of random encounters to make this trip much easier.
