Health and medical devices added to company charter

Nintendo is no longer interested in producing sleep monitoring devices, but that doesn’t mean the company is backing away from the quality of life initiative it began pursuing in 2014.
According to newly proposed amendments to Nintendo’s Articles of Incorporation, the company has designs on creating medical and health devices, as well as as computer software.
The proposed change will be brought to Nintendo’s 76th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, which is planned to take place on June 29, for consideration before becoming official.
