Pokemon Rumble World, sans microtransactions, is coming to the US later this year. It already hit Europe in January, and just like that release, it will allow players to merely buy the game and play an unlimited amount of it. There are still Poke Diamonds and VIP Cards involved which seems odd, but in theory, it won’t impact a whole lot. Both versions (free and retail) will not be compatible, but StreetPass functionality will work.
I actually thought it was a fun little brawler, but I wouldn’t pay too much for it. In fact, I enjoyed the original without paying anything
