Titanfall 2’s new Live Fire mode goes pilot-only

There’s no release date, but it can’t be far off

These free Titanfall 2 content updates sure are appreciated. I hope they can continue!

Here’s a quick peek at Live Fire, the upcoming six-on-six pilot-only mode and two accompanying maps. It’s best of five, with 60-second rounds and no respawns, so good luck. Teams can win by either taking out the competition or by capturing and holding the map’s neutral flag when the timer ends.

I’m not sure if this is my personal jam — Respawn describes the maps as “tight, enclosed death boxes designed specifically for the fast-paced, intense nature of the mode” — but Live Fire will appeal to someone, certainly. And that execution shown at the 0:13 mark should be a crowd-pleaser.
