Epic Games warn of rampant phishing scam emails

Be very wary of emails from Epic

Recommended Videos

Here’s a friendly warning from your friends at Destructoid, which comes courtesy of Epic Games. According to a statement made both on Twitter and their official forums, there’s some seriously dodgy stuff going on with emails from company addresses.

Following a phishing attack, many people are reportedly receiving emails from the company asking recipients to click links that do not lead to the official site of the company. Epic Games stance? Do not click on any links in any of their emails for the time being and be very careful with your information.

So, yeah, be really careful for a little while when it comes to Epic Games emails. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
