Ryu, Roy, and all the other leaked Smash DLC available now

But only if you’re lucky

Just as we suspected, Ryu, Roy, Lucas, Mii Fighter costumes based on characters from Splatoon, Virtua Fighter, Tekken, some new stages, and more new content are all available right now on Smash Bros. for the Wii U and the 3DS. Also as we suspected, the servers are currently clogged to the max with excited Smash fans hoping to download all this new content, so it may be a while before you can get on. I’m currently trying to get the updates for the Wii U and the 3DS versions, and I’ve been locked out for the past fifteen minutes. It’s like shopping for amiibo online all over again.

Most of this new content will cost you, but the new Miiverse stage is totally free, so even you are a little short on cash at the moment, you’ve got reason to boot up Smash today regardless. Just don’t boot it up today, if you don’t mind. Do the rest of us a favor if you aren’t absolutely dying to download all this new content ASAP. Those servers need all the room they can get.
