No, it’s not in-game, this is Lightning cosplay

If only a photographer could make ME look pretty…

Let’s get the potshot out of the way. Wow, this Lightning cosplay looks so much like a CG model — perfectly captures Lightning’s lack of emotion! Of course, we know that there’s a lot of depth behind Claire “Lightning” Farron. A a warm personality and deep inner life shined through at times when I interviewed her back in January.

But on to the sincerest form of flattery: imitation!

Cosplayer Kilory did her best Lightning with help from photographer ouzi and the results? They’re very good. I think it’s the mix of nailing the stoic poses, but also getting those action shots crisp with flowing, frozen cloth. You may have seen her in a whole host of Lightning outfits (and other nice costumes).
