They finally gave Ganondorf a trident in Hyrule Warriors Legends

A (Tri)force to be reckoned with

Ganondorf wasn’t given a trident in Hyrule Warriors for Wii U. That seems like a missed opportunity of sorts. It was his weapon of choice in some of the best Zelda games ever made.

That misstep is being rectified with the 3DS’ Hyrule Warriors Legends. In this new trailer, Ganondorf clears huge swathes of enemies with single swipes. That’s all just a warm up for when he throws the trident which causes everyone to go flying.

There’s still a bit of a wait for Hyrule Warriors Legends. It releases on March 25. Just four more months until Ganondorf gets to fight the way he was meant to.
