Change with the Dtoid community
Well isn’t this Hunky Dory? A nice little Friday. We have a new Call of Duty to play together. We have a new Fallout to play with ourselves (HA! HA!). We have herpes. Wait, that’s just me. My bad.
“So shut up and tell us what’s changing Mike.” Is what you are probably saying to yourselves right now. What’s changing? Well, the world my friends. Playing games together only on Fridays or the weekend, just isn’t working out the way it used to. So how about (starting next week) we take this whole thing weekly? Instead of only signing up for Friday on the blog, put down the day you want to play (next to the time) and voila! Still confused? It’s okay. Check the blog on Monday and all will be revealed.
New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!
The planning for FNF used to start in the forums, where community members signed up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Now, every Monday, posts go up in the community blogs where you sign up and it’s all kept up thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers. I then recap it all here on Friday, on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.
To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you’d rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!
