Most of the valley villagers are getting in on the event fun, including Moana in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In the Picture Pursuit: Moana quest, she tasks you with hunting down some Kakamora Motifs.
Since this quest is a scavenger hunt that requires you to explore a fairly sizeable area, it can be a fairly tricky one to get done. Picture Pursuit: Moana quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To finish the Picture Pursuit: Moana quest as part of the larger Picture Pursuit event, you need to track down and photograph all four Kakamora Motifs hidden around the Moana Realm in DDV. It’s a fairly tricky process to work through, so here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.
- Talk to Moana. Before you can get going on this quest, you first need to find and chat with Moana so she can assign it to you. Find her around the valley and have a talk with her to get things moving.
- Visit the Moana Realm. Once you’ve started this mission, head to the Moana Realm to begin the scavenger hunt. You can teleport there instantly using the map, or instead head through the Realm door inside the Dream Castle.
- Find all four Kakamora Motifs. Inside the Moana Realm, you need to locate and take pictures with four Kakamora Motifs. This Realm is quite colorful, so pinpointing their exact locations can be tricky.
- Return to Moana. After finding all four Motifs, meet back up with Moana to let her know you’ve completed the task. She’ll then give you a gold Motif bag that contains the Kakamora image as your reward.
All Picture Pursuit Kakamora Motif locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are four Kakamora Motifs to find around the Moana Realm. You can technically snap a photo with four of them right from the spot where you spawn into this region, so to have the easiest time capturing them all, stay where you are upon arriving in this area.
- The first Kakamora Motif can be found on a rock right behind the spot where you spawn into the Realm. It’ll be directly behind you upon loading in, so pan your camera around to spot it.
- The second Kakamora Motif can be found on the sail of Moana’s boat. From where you spawn in, look toward the beach area with the campfire to find it.
- The third Kakamora Motif can be found on the edge of a tall rock situated up in the lush, green, tropical area overlooking the beach. Turn your camera slightly right of the campfire to spot this one.
- The fourth Kakamora Motif can be found standing on a small island out in the ocean. Turn your camera slightly left of Moana’s boat to spot this little guy way out in the ocean on a nearby island.
After finding all the Kakamora Motifs, the Picture Pursuit: Moana quest will officially be complete. There are lots of other event quests you still need to check off, though, including Picture Pursuit: Peter Pan, Picture Pursuit: Buzz, Picture Pursuit: Cinderella, Picture Pursuit: Merlin, Picture Pursuit: Mickey, and Picture Pursuit: Alice.
