Band, DJ, and Guitar Hero DLC sales coming to an end on March 31st

The all digital future is here

If you still play Guitar, DJ, or Band Hero, you better stock up on all of the tracks you’ve always wanted, because the DLC store is going offline on March 31st. The online servers in general will apparently stay up, and any DLC purchased prior to that date will still work. To “celebrate,” Activision is putting select track packs on sale for 50% off.

I personally haven’t played a Hero game in years, as my house usually hosts Rock Band. But still, it’s kind of sad to see the end of an era, and DJ Hero wasn’t half bad either!

All hail the digital future.
