Tweak Crysis 3 with these console commands

Get the most out of the PC version

Electronic Arts has passed along a list of console commands for Crysis 3 to Game Front, which is a sentence I didn’t think I’d be able to write today. My first thought was that these would mostly pertain to graphical options — the kind that wouldn’t be as useful to the average player and their moderately-capable PC — but there are some pleasant surprises in here.

To name a few, there are commands for the field of view, amount of heads-up-display bobbing (thank goodness), mouse smoothing and acceleration, and skipping the intro movies. Of course, this is Crysis we’re talking about, so there are plenty of commands relating to visuals, such as depth of field, ambient occlusion, and rendering distances.

If you’re playing Crysis 3 and don’t mind spending some time digging around to customize the game beyond what can be accomplished through the menus, be sure to give the full list a look.
