Here’s our first look at Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer

Streaming event starts soon

In today’s multiplayer reveal event for Call of Duty: Ghosts, I’m hoping we’ll hear more about the dog companion from the single-player campaign. (We so won’t.) Instead, there will surely be talk of the new dynamic map conditions, a fresh set of perks, and everything else you’d expect. Either way, it’s not long, now — the stream kicks off at 10:30am Pacific.

A small part of me is hopeful that Infinity Ward will use the leap to new consoles as an excuse to change up the formula, but that’s asking for a lot when so many players have grown accustomed to way Call of Duty feels and are somehow not at all tired of it. Such stamina these folks have. If you’re unwilling or unable to watch this event unfold live, just check back on the front page for breakout posts over the next couple days.
