The sun never sets on Assassin’s Creed IV’s production

Touching on some of the challenges of an international production

Another year, another Assassin’s Creed, and another series of developer diaries to get the hype train moving. I think by now we can all agree that these developer diaries are more masturbatory than actually informative. That said, the first diary for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag actual delves just a little bit into some of the unique challenges of such a large international effort. Definitely worth a gander if you’re looking forward to Black Flag.

As game director Ashraf Ismail puts it, “Every minute of the whole week, someone, somewhere in this world is working on Assassin’s Creed IV.” Ubisoft is a well oiled machine it would seem. We’ll just have to wait until October to see how well oiled.
