Hobbit DLC now available for Guardians of Middle-earth

That’s one slippery Bilbo!

To coincide with the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, WB Games and Monolith have added some new faces to its Tolkien-centric MOBA. Both Bilbo Baggins and Bert the Troll are available now as playable Guardians, as well as a free new map skin based on The Shire.

As you can see from the trailer, Bilbo is one fast and sneaky little Striker, but I still find it a little hard to categorize the lumbering and dim-witted Stone Troll as a Tactician, at least in the classical sense. If you’re looking to get your console MOBA on, and get your Hobbit fix all in one, look no further. Each character pack is available now on Xbox Live and PSN, for 160 MS Points and $1.99, respectively.
