New Rhythm Heaven Wii screens look so good

I’ve always loved the Rhythm Heaven franchise for its concept, and not necessarily for its looks. It didn’t look fantastic on the Game Boy Advance, though you got a good feel for the visual style they were going for. The possibilities became clear when they released that arcade version of the GBA game, and even more so with the release of DS sequel Rhythm Heaven Gold. Now Nintendo has a chance to go nuts with this distinctive visual style on our televisions with Rhythm Heaven Wii

It looks like they’re taking advantage of this from the new screenshots of Rhythm Heaven Wii. Now our rhythmic tapping will be accompanied by vivid colors on our widescreen televisions. I can’t get over how colorful these new screenshots are. The series has never looked better!

I can see that some of my old favorites are back in this third game. You’re also able to see examples of the new two-player function, like in the Karate game. Watch Impress says that after the two-player levels you’ll be able to see how the pair match up in a results screen. I can’t wait to go at this 2P.
