E3: Ubisoft wants you to learn guitar with Rocksmith

Recommended Videos

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t care too much about a game like Rocksmith. Not that it’s bad — games as learning tools deserve our support — but it isn’t for me. If you’re into real guitars, and like videogames, this might be for you.

Ubisoft didn’t have a live demonstration of Rocksmith, but there was a pre-recorded video in which notable musicians and not-musicians talked about the game. A little bit of a gameplay was shown, and it looks like what you’d expect. It’s releasing for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October of this year.
