Maybe you were hoping that Nintendo would also push down the price of their other portables after yesterday’s 3DS price drop from $249 to $169. IGN asked following yesterday’s announcement and get a flat “No” back from Nintendo.
That means that the DS Lite stays at its low price of $99.99, and the DSi is still set at $149.99. It’s kind of funny to think about the DSi XL being the same price as the 3DS. I bet XL systems will just rot on shelves if they’re not cut in price.
