100,000 Strong for Mega Man Legends actually hits 100,000

It was a bit odd when “100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3” launched and didn’t actually have 100,000 people. But today, my fellow Mega Man friends, they can finally make that claim. Ever since Mega Man Legends 3 was officially cancelled, fans have been up in arms, saying a “lack of fan demand” wasn’t a valid reason to contribute to the cancellation of the project.

What added insult to injury was the fact that a Prototype version, set to hit the 3DS’ eShop, was basically finished and was evidently very meaty and polished to boot. The 100,000 Strong community also spilled their love over into the Capcom-Unity arena via this weapon contest — make no mistake, Mega Man Legends fans are still very much alive and kicking. So what’s next Capcom? The ball is in your court — maybe we can get that Legends 3 demo now?
