‘Zombie Island’ DLC for Borderlands on PC is finally out

Console owners have been playing around with “The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned” for a while now, but the Borderlands add-on is only now finalized and up for the taking on PC. Owners of the retail version need to go here, while those with the Steam release must head this way.

While depending on your level — especially when dealing with a cooperative situation — this DLC can be a bit of a bummer and require you to do a new character so that you aren’t too powerful or weak against enemies, I’d still recommend it. That was probably the only legitimate issue I had.

A nice change of scenery, a greater focus on presenting the narrative than the main game had, loads of humor including references to Dead Alive and Scooby-Doo, and effing zombies make this worth a download in my eyes. Plus, the final boss is out of control.
