Yup, Call of Duty: WWII has Nazi Zombies

My ears perked up

Just as I thought the Call of Duty: WWII reveal event was winding down and I could tune out, Sledgehammer Games started talking about co-op and horror elements. Then this ugly mug popped up.

Ah, gotcha. Nazi Zombies.

“Our co-operative mode delivers a unique storyline that’s an all-new take on Nazi Zombies that we think fans are going to love,” said studio head and co-founder Michael Condrey.

For now, all we really have to go on is this image. Given how popular these side modes have become, the inclusion of Zombies in a WWII-set Call of Duty seemed inevitable. I’m curious to see what this team comes up with and how much it does (or doesn’t) fall in line with what has come before.
