Yuji Naka’s new flight game coming to the Wii and 3DS

Recommended Videos

Yuji Naka has said in the past that his upcoming flight-focused game, Tenkuu no Kishi Rodea, is the game is he “might” have made into a sequel to NiGHTS. As a huge fan of the NiGHTS series, I’m all squeaky with joy over the game’s mere existence.

Even better is the news the game is coming to both the Wii and the 3DS. Details are scant on the 3DS version, but there is a little news on how the Wii version will control. To fly around, you point at the screen. Your character will move where you point.  You can press B or shake the Wii remote to speed up your movement. Point at the screen and press A to fire your gun.

Sounds weird. That said, I’m yet to play a Yuji Naka game I didn’t like, so I’ll keep the faith for now. I’m sure more details (including real screenshots) on Tenkuu no Kishi Rodea will be coming our way shortly, so stay tuned.
