Yes, this, please: EA registers new SSX-related domains

Recommended Videos

Things I’ve been needing for awhile: new socks, a haircut, and a brand new SSX game. Electronic Arts has been quiet on the extreme snowboarding front since SSX Blur on the Wii, but there may be another one on the horizon, this one called SSX: Deadly Descent or even SSX: First Descent

The publisher recently registered domains related to “SSX First Descent” and “SSX Deadly Descent” which were both uncovered by superannuation. Being just domain names, there’s not much to go on outside of speculation, hopes, and dreams. Still, for fans of the series who’ve wanted a “true” new SSX, this may be a good sign.

Rumors have pointed to Burnout developer Criterion handling the next iteration of the series, which would be an interesting turn. My review of Criterion’s latest game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (which hits shelves on November 16), will go live tomorrow morning.
