Xbox One gets Battlefield 4’s Second Assault DLC first

Not this again

The second of five expansions for Battlefield 4, Second Assault, will be available first for Xbox One players. It’s another one of those timed exclusives that Microsoft is so into, unfortunately. If you want to play the DLC at launch on November 22, your choice of platform is limited.

Second Assault itself is a collection of four “fan-favorite” Battlefield 3 maps, remade for the new game. Business as usual for the franchise. As much as I like to see wholly new content, it’s hard to resist replaying maps we know and in most cases love.

Speaking of which, I’m uncharacteristically digging the Battlefield 4 beta. It’s quite fun.
