Warhawk goes gold, gets price, date, matching pumps

Warhawk, Sony’s upcoming jet/ground-combat-simu-arcade title has finally gone gold. After what seems like years of watching pretty pictures and hearing how it’s the next evolution in the jet/ground-combat-simu-arcade genre, on August 28th, 2007, Joe Q. Public and Jane Q. Mudane will get their chance to pick the game up either via download on the PlayStation Network, or at retail for an MSRP of $59.99.

The smart money believes this title will sell like hotcakes, if only because of the lack of quality titles on the PS3. The question now is: how many of you plan to download it in lieu of travelling to your local Walmart and picking the game up during one of your weekly “Diapers N’ Tobacco” shopping sprees?
