Upcoming Doom sneak peek is only meant for QuakeCon attendees

We’ll see about that

The teaser trailer for Doom (4) didn’t do much for me, but I’m looking forward to the long-awaited reveal. We’ll see more of the game at this year’s QuakeCon, set to take place in Dallas, Texas from July 17 – 20, or so I thought. According to publisher Bethesda, the “sneak peek” is planned only for attendees, so those of us at home are going to miss out.*

“This an exclusive thing we are doing for attendees as part of our Annual QuakeCon Welcome presentation. We’ll have plenty more to show everyone at a later date, but we didn’t want another QuakeCon to go by without doing something special for the amazing QC community and id supporters that have been with us for more than 20 years.”

*Assuming, somehow, no one leaks the stuff online within minutes of the presentation.
