Ultra Street Fighter II’s launch trailer has a weird bit at the end

First person hadouken?

During Nintendo’s Treehouse stream showcasing all of the new Nintendo Switch games, Street Fighter Executive Producer Yoshinori Ono showed up and revealed a nostalgic trailer for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. While it has a bunch of info that we’ve already been privy to (two new characters, two players taking on a CPU opponent at the same time), there was one bit at the end that really stuck out to me.

At the very end of the trailer, you see Ryu delivering a hadouken in first person. I’m not sure why that’s in this trailer, but could it somehow be a part of this port? Or maybe Ono is stealth-announcing a mode coming to Street Fighter V? Anyway, check out the trailer for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers below! It’s lookin’ mighty fine.
