Check out this Mario Paint artwork by RuiZinen. This is the real deal, folks, done with the real deal Mario Paint mouse, and not with some beefed up PC version. All the images you see in this video are digital camera snaps of a television screen that a Super Famicom playing Mario Paint was connected to.
The work is so good that it pisses me off! Doesn’t it piss you off? All I can do now is think about all the time I spent trying to create something at least somewhat decent and never quite succeeding. I even sucked at the music side of it and I’m a musician! As the images came up in this video I just kept screaming “seriously!?” at my computer screen. They’re that good.
There’s plenty of great Nintendo character art in this video, but I really dig some of the Castlevania stuff, and all of the black and white art is fantastic.
I hate this guy. I hope he makes more.
