I’ve somewhat purposefully been avoiding The Order: 1886. The London setting and developer (the God of War PSP games’ Ready at Dawn) are a curious mix, but ever since that announcement trailer back at E3, rather regrettably, not much has come out.

This is a new intellectual property — a big-budget next-gen one at that — but even that’s not enough to hold my attention. I’ve been waiting for something truly worth sharing, and I’d say these screenshots courtesy of Game Informer are a step in the right direction.

Still not sold on this thing being what Ready at Dawn calls a “filmic experience.”
