Zelda: Breath of the Wild ruins

These Zelda: Breath of the Wild ruins in Animal Crossing are delightful

We need a Zelda Maker, like, yesterday

Zelda: Breath of the Wild ruins in Animal Crossing is a match made in heaven. Pretty much anything Nintendo-related in Animal Crossing is, really.

But there’s a definite line in the sand when it comes to pro creators, really stretching the limits of what Animal Crossing: New Horizons can do. Naydinfar-Crossing is one of those people.

Shared on Reddit, Naydinfar-Crossing managed to recreate the feeling of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ruins in New Horizons, set to a trailer with the dramatic score of the former. It works! And kind of reminds me of the vibe that Link’s Awakening on Switch was going for. Man, it would be great if Animal Crossing had dungeon crawling elements like Stardew Valley.

If you’re interested, Naydinfar-Crossing has more ideas on their Instagram account. They’ve done style shots of the Korok Dish, a Gyroid Forest, a Ruined Path, and a lot more. Their PC and Switch setup is also adorable.

Seeing fan-made projects like this really makes me long for more games like Mario Maker, that have long-term server upkeep. Why don’t we have a Zelda Maker yet for custom dungeons? It would be great if there were more accessible creative outlets for people to share their passion.
