It’s been a long time coming, but the day has finally arrived that Microsoft officially announced it won’t be manufacturing any current or new Zune devices anymore. At least the Zune brand will still be lingering inside the Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360, but the news still bummed me out as a proud Zune owner for the past few years. It’s funny, I actually thought the Zune HD would be an iPod killer at some point in time.
In good news, a development project for a new Xbox console would appear to be in full swing, Netflix is keeping everything under a single roof, Larry is back, Mass Effect 3 is confirmed to have multiplayer and so many more things happened on 10/10/11.
