The best FFAR 1 loadout in Warzone

A new season means a new meta in Call of Duty: Warzone, but also some old guns refreshed and reloaded for the fight.

The FFAR 1 is another returning weapon from CoD’s past (along with the LC10 SMG), and it was a memorable one from Black Ops Cold War because it was a formidable gun in the Warzone meta for quite some time. It remains to be seen if BO6’s version will be as dominant, but for now, it’s another fun new gun to level and use in BR.

Based on the real-world FAMAS, the FFAR 1 fittingly has a super quick fire rate that makes it a struggle to deal with at long range in Verdansk, but a powerhouse up close and at medium-range engagements.

The FFAR 1’s lightning-quick fire rate means it will always be a bit wonky at range, but this setup turns it into a bit of a laser beam for close and mid-range encounters, making it perfect as a weapon to back up your sniper rifle.

Season four’s new G-Grip attachment is amazing, and makes its downside of having your laser visible while aiming down sights totally worth dealing with. Its Recoil Stabilization helps turn the FFAR 1 into a straight shooter.

You will need all 60 bullets in the Extended Mag II, so don’t leave home base without it, nor should you ever go without the Long Barrel or Compensator attachments, which help mitigate the base weapon’s recoil problem.

Feel free to swap out Gunfighter for Overkill, but the above setup for attachments is definitely what I would suggest, as I feel like it needs all eight attachments to truly flourish. The Perks and equipment work on just about any kind of loadout in the game, though, so customize as you wish.
