Tara Long interviews Doug Macleod about Dead Island

Tara was at the Dead Island booth to check out the game and pull aside Doug Macleod of Deep Silver for an interview. She was able to get some interesting info about the game, except for the deodorant bomb. That sounds awesome. But anyway, there’s some info in there about different weapon tiers, crafting, trading and selling and Zombie types. Tons of good stuff to get excited about.

Now what’s really crazy to me is that this game comes out in almost a week. I can remember from a short time ago when Dead Island was just a screenshot. I’m so glad it finally came around and that it looks fantastic. From what I’ve seen the mood, setting and gameplay are exactly the kinds of things I can really get into. I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on Dead Island September 6th.
