Breaking News! I just received a top secret communique via the World Wide Web that reads as follows ~ “Due to popular demand & the magic of , Adventures of Pip will launch on early: June 4!” Destructoid is the first to get this information, and we are delivering it to you now with as much combined haste and precision as we can muster.

For those who don’t know, Adventures of Pip is a 2D action platformer that takes you through the strengths and weaknesses of genre’s history through both varied level design and an unique transformation mechanic. Headed up by original Shantae Production Manager Shereef Morse and with additional design by Scribblenauts co-creator Jeff Luke, Pip has the pedigree needed to be a hit. It’s also got cool wall sliding puzzles, an evil-but-lovable villain, and most importantly, creators who poured their heart and soul into the development process. Will all that promise and potential lead to a big payoff? We’ll find out soon enough.
