[Update: And animator Woz as coming to!

The last time Sup Holmes saw Sean Velasco, he was at Wayforward, the studio where he’d worked to create Contra 4, Double Dragon: Neon, and loads of other cult boyfriend favorites. Since then, he’s set off on a voyage of his own with the crew at Yacht Club Games, quadrupled the initial Kickstarter goal for their debut game Shovel Knight, seen praise from let’s players like Game Grumps and Two Best Friends, and has generally taken the world by storm.

We’ll be talking to Sean about all of those things, plus his take on why the Shovel Knight Kickstarter saw more success than other recent “retro” projects, what he makes of the ever increasing criticism of games that put sex and violence at the forefront, and whatever else he wants to talk about. Join us at 1pm PST/4pm EST for the live conversation as it happens
