Holly Pickering has a case of the flu this week (wish her well everybody!) which almost caused us to lose yet another week of Sup Holmes to the annals of fate, but luckily we have the lovely Mike Frauenhofer her to help us keep the show alive.

Mike was part of the small team that created Demon Chic, the turn-based strategy RPG about music, hallucinations, elemental attacks, and gender trickery. Fans of the Mother series and the games that influenced it, or anyone interested in games that try new things should check it out.

We’ll be talking to Mike about how he got into game development, the small team that created Demon Chic, his goals for the project, publishing on the App Store, his thoughts on the industry today, and whatever else he feels strongly about. Join us at 1pm PST/4pm EST for the whole shebang.

Videogames, I suppose."- Gainax, FLCL Vol. 1 "The beach, the trees, even the clouds in the sky... everything is build from little tiny pieces of stuff. Just like in a Gameboy game... a nice tight little world... and all its inhabitants... made out of little building blocks... Why can't these little pixels be the building blocks for love..? For loss... for understanding"- James Kochalka, Reinventing Everything part 1 "I wonder if James Kolchalka has played Mother 3 yet?" Jonathan Holmes
