Sunless Sea celebrates submarines with a free Steam weekend

Sunless Sea is one of those games I wanted to check out last year but never got around to. I guess I should have, because it showed up on a couple of our personal game of the year lists. This weekend, I have even less of an excuse to neglect it. It’s free on Steam starting right now and going through until Sunday.

This is all to promote the upcoming downloadable content, Zubmariner. The DLC takes players beneath the Unterzee, down to the depths in convertible submarine/surface vessels. The brief gameplay video released a couple days ago shows off some of the plodding dread of the ocean floor.
