Sony’s ‘PlayStation Picks’ flash sale has some big discounts in tow

50% for the most part

Oh hey it’s another PlayStation flash sale. This time we’re getting a mix of new and old, but the gist is most things are “up to 50% off” (especially with Plus, which can go up to 60%). Detroit: Become Human is probably the highlight given that it just came out recently, but there’s a few other big ones like Witcher 3 and Far Cry 5.

Battlefield 1 for five bucks isn’t a terrible deal, and the same goes for the flawed but probably worth six bucks Just Cause 3. There’s a variety of genres on display too, with party games like Overcooked, fighters like Street Fighter V, strategy-tinted games such as The Escapists 2, and your typical AAA open world jaunts. The sale ends at 8AM PT on September 18.

You can find the full list below. Happy hunting! I was having a discussion with a community member recently about FOMO (fear of missing out) on big releases like Spider-Man. Flash sales like this are the exact reason why it’s okay to take a minute and not pull the trigger on big games. Eventually after the craze dies down you’ll be able to enjoy them at your own pace, and cheaper.
