If Sega’s good at one thing, it’s releasing old Genesis games on every platform that exists. With that in mind, you’ll all be thrilled to know that the classic Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is coming to the iTunes Store next week. Badical!
Sonic 2 is pegged for an April 19 release and will sell for $5.99. That is, of course, entirely too much and a somewhat arrogant price, but we’ve come to expect that from the bigger publishers on iTunes. Seriously, seven bucks for Doom? You bunch of bloody dhampirs.
Of course, I can whine about it all I like, I’ll probably still end up buying it because I’m part of the problem. Always part of the problem.
