SOE announces Payday: The Heist for PSN, PC

Ahead of E3, Sony Online Entertainment has unveiled Payday: The Heist, a downloadable title for PlayStation Network and PC which sadly doesn’t involve an anthropomorphic PayDay candy bar. Instead, it’s a first-person shooter with an emphasis on squad-based play.

Your team will run through six heists, complete with hostage trading and class-based character progression. If that doesn’t sound like enough content, know that it’s supposed to have added replay value — “dynamic environments, adaptive enemy behavior, shifting entry points,” etc.

Could be neat. I think it’s going to come down to how fun the heists are, and the feel of the guns (and controls in general).
