So, Battlefield 4’s Naval Strike DLC looks pretty great

It’s been months and months since I last touched Battlefield 4, for a number of reasons — some of them the fault of the game, some of them not. I’m thinking the impending Naval Strike DLC, showcased rather excellently in the trailer above, might be what pulls me back in.

The Carrier Assault mode is described as an “homage” to Battlefield 2142‘s Titan mode and that’s the main draw here, but four new maps, five weapons, two gadgets, and a hovercraft vehicle also make a convincing argument all the same. If you’re a Battlefield  4 Premium member, this’ll be available on March 25, 2014. The rest of us can get Naval Strike on April 8.
