Folks that pre-order Sleeping Dogs on Steam before August 14 will be treated to eight new items in Team Fortress 2. “The Triad Pack” consists of gear for specific classes, as well as ones that will work for everyone. The coolest looking item is the Heavy’s new “Huo Long Heatmaker” mini-gun, in my opinion.
Additionally, there will be a new map called Kong King designed for King of the Hill mode. Full details on all the goodies over on the TF 2 blog.
All of the items will also be available for purchase in the Mann Co. Store, so you can still get the “The Flying Guillotine” meat cleaver for the Scout if you for someone reason don’t want to buy Sleeping Dogs even though it’s going to probably be really great and you’re going to feel so stupid that you didn’t take advantage of this deal you horrible horrible horrible person.
